Project Conclusion

My conclusion is that my project is definitely not yet finished. So far it is going to plan pretty much, with only some minor set backs, but my measurable goal, along with my teammates, was to get 100 shoeboxes filled with items. And so far, I have no items, so I definitely did not meet the goal. I think the reason it is not done yet is because I procrastinated. Also, the season for this type of thing is usually later than this anyways, so that encouraged procrastination.

Email Fail

I tried to email the principal last night... and realized I had no idea what his email was. So I tried to find it on the middle school webpage, and I couldn't find it anywhere. I even tried getting on the student network for google docs and checking my contacts list. I could not find it still. So sorry for the fail. The box will still be brought in on Monday with the poster. I also really think the picture I found is cute.

Arranging- Done!

So I talked to the principal after school, and I am emailing him the blurb tonight to put up on the TV in the lobby, and to be read on the announcements. Yay!! The poster will get done over the weekend so I can bring it in Monday.

Blurb!!

I have a rough draft for my blurb now!! At the end of the day I'm going to ask the middle school principal if I can bring it in tomorrow and have it read, but bring the box in monday with the poster. I'm not done with the poster yet. I haven't had time to finish it. Hopefully I'll finish it tonight. Or tomorrow. Or if I'm really unlucky with homework, on saturday.

A Box is Found!!!

We have a box!! I may or may not spruce it up so it isn't just this brown box of, well, cardboard. If I could make it like the picture that would be awesome, but that's not possible so I might settle for construction paper, or paint. So if it doesn't end up in the school until Monday.... that's why. That, and I haven't finished the poster the rest of the way. Or the blurb. I have writers-block, or more specifically blurb-block. Oh well.

Poster Almost Done!!!

The Poster is almost done now!! Just need to color it!! But I can't find a box still. I checked the basement and I asked Madison. She hasn't checked yet. Hopefully she'll have an extra. Will start blurb next.

Permission

I got permission today to put a box in our middle school. Hopefully Madison still has a box in her attic. If she doesn't.... we might be in trouble. I am still working on the poster. Now I'm also working on a little blurb to be read on the announcements.
